Campaigns

In CXF, a campaign represents a specific marketing strategy composed of multiple campaign links. Each campaign is defined with the purpose of targeting a specific audience and achieving well-defined marketing objectives. Each campaign includes:

  • Landing Page URL: The destination page that users will be directed to when interacting with the campaign.
  • Title and Slug: Brief, readable descriptions that identify the campaign.
  • Target Audience: Audience segmentation that the campaign is directed toward.
  • Budget and Dates: Financial information and a timeline for tracking and management (for informative purposes, not affecting execution).
  • URL Parameters: The values set for URL parameters, enabling precise audience segmentation and campaign tracking.

After creating the campaign, specific links for that campaign are generated. In these links, both standard UTM parameters and custom parameters defined in the campaign can be configured.

Each time a campaign link is created, a shortened link is also generated using the link shortening service provided by Mints.ly. This allows for easier and shareable access for users.

Campaign statistics are generated in two different locations:

  • In Mints.ly, statistics for each time a shortened link is accessed are recorded, providing detailed information on campaign effectiveness.
  • In CXF, metrics related to the number of times users access the full campaign link are stored, providing valuable insights into campaign performance.

In summary, a campaign in CXF is a key tool for conducting effective marketing strategies, with the ability to segment, track, and analyze the performance of campaigns targeted at specific audiences.
