People

The People module in CXF focuses on managing relationships and communication with individuals and organizations interacting with the CXF platform. This module encompasses various functions and consists of four primary objects:

  1. Contacts: Represent individuals who engage with the CXF platform, including prospects, current customers, and other relevant contacts. Contacts may be at different stages of conversion, ranging from "Ghosts" to "Leads" and ultimately verified "Contacts." Their information and activity are stored for future interactions and segmentation.

  2. Companies: These entities represent organizations to which contacts belong. Each contact is associated with a company, and a company can have multiple related contacts. This allows for the grouping of contacts by company for better organization and segmentation.

  3. Forms: Forms are essential tools for gathering information and feedback from contacts. They can be configured to capture specific contact data and generate attributions for both the contacts themselves and objects within the platform. Forms play a crucial role in converting "Ghosts" into "Contacts" and profiling contacts.

  4. Conversations: Conversations are objects that facilitate communication among contacts, users, and, in some cases, forms (such as bots). They record the exchange of messages, which can be text, images, or videos. Conversations can also be associated with forms to generate automated conversations based on defined form fields.

The People module in CXF aims to efficiently manage relationships with contacts and collect relevant data. It provides tools for communication, feedback collection, and tracking contact activity, contributing to improved interaction and personalization of experiences within the platform.
